My Family

Sophia and I just dropped off Uncle Danny and Aunt Nic at the airport and poor Sophia cried all the way home.

As much as we love our friends here in town, we miss having family close by. With my mom in Tennessee, my dad in Texas and Nic and Dan in Missouri, it's a rare treat to see any of them. Holidays are just as stressful because we have to divide our time with those three states plus Joel's family in Wisconsin, so when we do see everyone, I get very upset to say goodbye.

I wish we could be closer to everyone but that's just not possible these days.

Sigh.
