Push Up Challenge

I posted last week how I've just not been too happy with my self image.

Pregnancy did some weird things to my body that only a tummy tuck can reverse. Or a personal trainer. Or a personal chef...but I'm not a celebrity so I have to do it all on my own, and hey, who am I kidding? I hate working out. Hate it.

And dieting? Puhlease. I need me my cold chocolate cake and my espresso doubleshots on ice.

But I've been good about walking and that's the first step. Sophia gets packed up every morning and we go walk around the 'hood for about 35-45 minutes every morning. On weekends, we walk around the park and that's about an hour and a half.

I've cut sodas out of my diet completely and I'm proud of that. Liquor? Yes. Caffeine? Yes. Sodas? No. It's a start.

But now, now I've begun the 100 Push Up Challenge.

Last night was Day 2 for me and I will do this. I will complete this challenge and I am totally motivated to do it. If I can start with small goals, then by the time several months have passed by, the small goals will become a daily part of my life and I can add another goal into it.

Like I said, it's all about baby steps. And push ups.

Maybe I should try this one out, too. I can't do a push-up to save my life!

Yeah, I could only do 4 in a row to start. But last night after 2 days, I did a total of 15. Not in a row. Just a total.

Ha ha. I tried to do one, and I collapsed! But I can do a pull up...so I'm not sure why I can't do a push up.
