Worry Wart

I worry a lot.

If I was asked to participate in one of those books that uses quotes about what you've learned in life, mine would say, "I've learned that the things I worry about never really amount to anything worth worrying for."

However, as I told Joel, if I didn't worry about things, then they would end up a big deal.

Such as my moles. My family doctor told me I had 3-7 that had a high chance of melanoma, especially the two on my leg and the one on my chest. So I made my dermatologist appointment and every single day that I waited I expected cancer to be growing in my legs at a rapid rate.

On Friday I had my appointment and he told me all my moles looked fine. He stated that family doctors will remove 10 moles if you ask them to because they see maybe 1 case of moles a week, where the dermatologist sees 30-40 a day and they know what to look for. I trust my dermatologist's opinion.

So there you have it. Another case where I worried myself sick. All for nothing.

Ok, not nothing. I had a wart frozen off. That's where the wart part of the title comes into play.

This has nothing to do with your story, though I'm very glad to hear all your moles are safe to keep! :)

This is far more random...I had a dream I met Sophia! Although it must have been a few years down the road because she had much longer hair. But she looked just like you! We just happen to pass you guys on the street.

Guess that's what happens when you check your blog roll right before bedtime. :)
