Finally!

It happened!

I did it!

I FINALLY made the famous oatmeal cookies that I've been messing up for the past two times I've made them. It's amazing what using a food scale can do instead of spending hours behind the computer trying to convert pounds to cups for each different ingredient.

So as I type, Joel has the day off and is drinking orange juice, watching Super Why! on PBS with his daughter and having a breakfast of oatmeal raisin cookies, compliments of the great and wonderful cookie shop that I miss dearly.
